System Settings
The system settings give access to configurations which effect the complete system. Also, as admin some system information can be displayed.
Permission Management
This gives some permission configuration options and offers a download of all permissions for admins. Refer to the permission management for more information.
System Configuration
- Configure property defaults
-
The defaults for properties in newly created task templates and connections can be adjusted for the complete installation. The custom default properties are set by an admin user and can be defined for every available task template and every individual connection.
The custom default properties are applied to every newly created task template or connection, so the properties do not need to be defined again when creating a new task template or connection.
Example:
These custom default properties are set for the table copy task template:
-
Drop Option: Drop nothing and create nothing
-
Toleration Mode: Allow Truncation
-
SQL Data Transport: true
When creating a new table copy task template, the properties Drop Option, Toleration Mode and SQL Data Transport have been set to the custom default properties. The remaining properties are set as usual.

- Rebuild Neo4j configuration objects graph
-
The Neo4j graph holds the dependencies between configuration objects. The graph can be rebuild based on the content of the PostgreSQL administration database. Find more information in iMaintenance user manual chapter.
- Check consistency of configuration objects
-
The PostgreSQL administration database holds all XDM configuration objects. The check action can be used to verify all configuration objects are in a valid state and list defect objects. This is especially helpful when entire list do no show anymore. Find more information in iCheck Admin Database user manual chapter.
- Rebuild search index
-
The search index is maintained using ElasticSearch. With this action it is possible to re-scan all configuration objects and task executions to be found using the global search. iCentral search configuration user manual chapter.
- Internal scheduled jobs
-
The scheduled job list shows all internal scheduled processes. This includes scheduled task execution, scheduled cleanup routines for task with a retention period, the CasC scheduled job and any other regular operations controlled by the XDM installation.
- Core service metric information
-
The Spring boot metrics show reports on internal processes of the XDM core server. Find more information on the available metrics in the Spring Boot Metrics documentation.
Client System Log
If configured, this log shows log messages from all users for this XDM instance.
